About the Arizona Sexual Assault Network
As a statewide collaborative network, the most significant aspect of our work
will be fostering Regional Leadership Councils across the state. This is an
effort to receive feedback on the needs of those who work directly in the
anti-sexual violence field. We want to involve survivors, prevention
specialists, direct service providers, law enforcement, the judiciary,
advocates, probation, prosecution, offender treatment, forensic nurse examiners,
and any person who has an interest in addressing sexual assault issues in our
state. AzSAN wants to build a network that is of, by, and for the people who do
this work. With this guidance, our network can develop policy initiatives and
respond to any training or technical assistance needs that arise.
Fact
99 out of 100 people will report when someone has broken into their car. Only 16
out of 100 will report when someone has broken their body.
